Mid-century silkscreen prints on textured felt created by the artist Gerda Christoffersen. Born in Denmark, Christoffersen spent most of her life in Canada and the United States studying Indigenous cultures, becoming widely famous for creating these signature stylized Native American portraits. Each is commemorated by the original owner with a signature on the back reading "July 1959, Yellowstone Park, Wyoming" which is likely in reference to when and where they were purchased.
